Lara Robinson
After completing an Art and Design Foundation Course Lara spent two years at Charles H Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy. Here she studied portraiture learning the disciplined ‘Sight Size’ technique. She then spent three years at The Barcelona Academy Of Art exploring still life, landscape, figurative and portraiture. A deep practice of the essential principles handed down from the past, allows her freedom to express and develop, combining her own style into her academic training.
Lara is currently exploring other techniques looking to pursue her personal work towards the contemporary art world. Producing work that is clearly thought out, taking decisions on representation and enhancing the best and most interesting way to reflect the subject matter is key to Lara’s own practice.
