Zoe Weisselberg

I studied Fine Art (Sculpture) at Wimbledon School of Art. Since then, I have (amongst other things): Worked as an assistant to Jake & Dinos Chapman (including on “Hell” for the Apocalypse Exhibition at The Royal Academy of Art in September 2000). Initiated, curated and exhibited in “High Rise” based on the novel by J G Ballard in Trellick Tower. The exhibition (including my plaster casts of a post-apocalyptic Trellick Tower) featured on Channel 4. Worked as an antiques restorer replicating sections of antique ceramics using traditional and inventive techniques, merging the old with the new. Worked as an assistant to Gerry Judah on giant twin cruciform sculptures exhibited in St Pauls Cathedral, commemorating the 100th anniversary of beginning of the First World War. Studied at Morley college short courses in ceramics. Presently doing an MA in Ceramics and Glass the Royal Colleg of Art 2020-2022.

I am currently inspired by the ageing process, the beauty in our structure, decay and ancient rituals.
